1,000 Pageviews...

I suppose 1,000 pageviews necessitates a journal entry. Though I'm not one for writing and I wonder what it really means. The subjective nature of art makes me less inclined to use pageviews as a measure of my success/popularity. And I do seem to be moving slower than most, not that I'm making much of an effort. But I never really came here to make friends nor to invite anyone's criticism. I was lucky enough to make some great friends though, and I suppose free criticism can't hurt. I fear for the path lying ahead here at DA. Seems like money is becoming more important than the artists. All I wanted was a place to put my art so I could mark my progress and let my friends see what I do with my free time. But if DA wants to start taking my stuff for their own gains then it might be time to pack it in and find a new home. The latest submission policy is almost appalling. If it weren't free I'd be outraged. Since it is free I can't complain (but I will anyways). I'm just disappointed that DA thinks they even need to include clauses like that to take advantage of the artists that have made DA what it is. For anyone that actually read all this babble, thanks for your time and support.
